Mame cabinet: Update 3

Mame cabinet: Update 2

Today, I added the monitor shelf and the speaker panel. I also cut the plexiglass for the marquee and installed the fluorescent backlight. I also added a surge protector and a master power switch to the rear panel. It’s coming along slowly, but it is coming together.

Building a MAME cabinet

I’ve started construction on my MAME arcade cabinet.

A MAME cabinet is an arcade that plays all of the classic stand-up arcade games: Galaga, Pac-man, Donkey Kong, Killer Instinct, etc. In fact, it plays 3,000 games in all. You can read more about mame here: mamedev.org

I’m using the plans from arcadecab.com to construct the cabinet.
