		<title>Upgrading SATA drive in the Mac Mini</title>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I wasn&#8217;t happy with the performance of the 4200RPM laptop drive that came factory installed in the Mac Mini.  After doing some research on the web, I determined that it was possible to upgrade the drive to a standard size/performance SATA drive, so I proceeded to upgrade.</p>
<p>First, I obtained a NewerStack v2 to hold the drive.  I bought a Western Digital Raptor to be the brawn.  It was the fastest SATA drive (at the time), so it was a great upgrade.  Here are the pictures:<br />
